How this site makes money

ClearWatt is monetized through Google AdSense display advertising — the ads you see on this site are served and targeted by Google, not chosen by us article-by-article. That's currently our only revenue source.

What we don't do

• We don't sell your contact information or "leads" to solar installers, lenders, or any other business.
• We don't accept payment from installers, manufacturers, or financing companies in exchange for favorable coverage or placement.
• We don't currently run affiliate links or sponsored content. If that changes in the future, any affiliate or sponsored content will be clearly labeled within the article itself, not just on this page.

How ads are placed
